No I’m against the death penalty… When Obama gets the presidency he should use the provisions of the Patriot act and point his finger at everyone in the Bush administration and every corporatist Republican in office, every right-wing radio talk show host and say “you’re an enemy combatant” and have them sent to Guantanimo. No trial no phone call nothing. A little water-boarding wouldn’t hurt either.

The oil people already had a president and his puppet master vicepresident in the White house for 8 years, they want 8 more to continue their destroying our economy to their benefit.

Supply side, trickle-down economics has been very, very effective for those at the top. The wealth magically trickles right down into their offshore accounts. “It’s a club folks and you and I ain’t in it!…..They don’t give a flyin F*#k about you!” – George Carlin

  • Danklinton:

Now I know why John McCain is worth $40 million dollars! (Look it up on Wikipedia) You don’t have to be a Rocket Scientist to know McCain’s Oil buddies are running his campaign to benefit the Oil companies and not the American People! McCain’s Oil buddies voted against Oil Price Gouging!!! So his Oil buddies and his Spectators! Boosted! The price of Gas! To benefit their fat pockets! And robbed!!! The American people!!!. Anyone who votes for McBush! Is Delusional!

    GO OBAMA 08!!!

  • Gymnastixgirl212:

I agree with anim367, America needs to create an economy that is not dependent on oil.
However, I think the steps are a little different
    1) Get rid of the entire Bush Administration
    2) Do not allow private corporations to expedite the United States Federal Reserve
    3) Stop using all oil
    4) Spur the economy through new forms of power such as fusion

Reverse Robin Hood is what Republicans believe in. Use the rich to steal from the poor and make the rich even richer.

  • ealfinez:

Really Cool? Can you refute ANY of the facts that are made in this report? I mean they are LAWS that are in place and have given these speculators the advantage to make money on our grief. So what can you say that would make your point about MSNBC grasping at straws to support Obama when this is CLEARLY about Oil prices and how were being ROBBED?

  • coolbreezed:

These people are simply grasping at straws and clearly advocating Obama. Shameful!

  • ChristianEconCom:

I remember Phil Gramm spouting all his anti-big government, anti-regulatory, free market capitalist rhetoric years ago. The MSM generally just passes over the horrific damage to our economy. Thanks KO.

The government is NOT going to stop these crimes against it’s people. The people are the only ones that can force a change. Is it time yet?

  • anim367:

    1st step…

    hang all of them…

    2nd step…

federal funding of campaigns… no more corporate dollars to pay for anyone’s campaigns or trips…

    step 3…

End corporate personhood and you end corporate free speech.

It wasn’t until 1886, when the US Supreme Court Justice lay upon his deathbed, that the rail road companies finally bamboozled the American People thru that Court.

J.C.Bancroft Davis wrote the language in the case head notes, stating the court held corporations were ‘persons under the law, and entitled to the 14th (equal protection)Amendment of the US Constitution.

Davis had worked for the rail road before becoming clerk of the court
