and i was wondering if the DEMOCRAT wins the election are they planning on targeting lower gas prices??

    gas price up because of shortage of oil production, usually is up to the middle east that desire the gas price, because they control 90% of oil comes to U.S.

    No gas prices will never go down. Oil is a finite resource. Look up a graph of Texas oil production. The peak occured in the early eighties and the wells are now pumping at 1930’s level. With prosperity countries like India and China are competing for the same oil. Although I consider myself liberal, it doesn’t matter which party wins an election.

    The only choice is to put more funding into renewables like wind, solar, ocean, and geothermal……..

    Big Oil has all the excuses as to why gas prices are going up. Much of this years 50% increase has been due to worry and concern about one thing or another. Exxon-Mobil recently came out with their quartely earnings and their only profiting one billion dollars a month now. With profits like that, there will be many more excuses in the pipe line.
