They are 2.59 here too I think. But it doesn’t affect me. I don’t own a car right now. Don’t want one either I ride my bicycle everywhere.
Granted I will take a car to work today, but it’s like 2 blocks away, I could ride my bike, it’s just cold out right now. And I’m not paying for the gas
2.95/gallon where i live … i have already cut my driving habits down ALOT!! my daughter doesnt get bussing to and from school, so i drop her off in the morning and if i dont have to work that day then i will walk to her school and we will walk home, i go to work 4 nights a week, and i drive to the store and thats all the driving i do!!
I already changed my driving habits at $2.79 a gallon, although I get 20 miles per gallon. My neighbor and I now drive to the supermarket together and I plan ahead to make a lot of stops when I am going someplace myself: like drop off the library books on the way home from work. I call two neighbors when I have to pick up something at Home Depot and they call me when they are running out there. Today I picked up a bag of fertilizer for a neighbor when I was getting plants. The other day she called me and I had her pick up a flat of begonias.
It already has at 2.50 a gallon
$7/gallon.
Right now I spend about $20 more in gasoline per month than I did 2 months ago so I’m not hurting that badly.
I feel more pain is when the prices of everything else such as groceries going up.
Its already too high.
