A gallon for a mere three bucks? That's sooo cheap! If you were German, a liter would set you back 1.50 Euro, which is 8.80 $ per gallon.

Americans need to realize that it's not JUST about the gas prices. It is about the whole infrastructure that is built around gasoline from the ground to the pump. It is wasteful, polluting and we need to change our energy sources by promoting clean energy, less car dependency and conservation.

I getting one. However, I will still buy a used car. I live in New York, so when Winter comes I can use my car. Still, I can save a lot of money using a nice $1,200-$1,500 scooter for about 6 months out of a year. I think I'll be OK commuting to school and home. I live in the Bronx so it's not that bad unlike in the city where I'm not that brave.
