One Million voices to lower gas prices in America. Do they rwally listen to all of them? or Do they love to hear all one million or more voices complain all at once? I cannot help but wonder if we will ever win against their version of a global chess game? Also what part are we on their chess game board? Are we the Pawns? Because we sure are not the Kings or Queens! I guess it take all of us people to get the job done correctly. If it is to be done at all?

the neocon Ed Schrocks-In-Denial make me sick.

If oil is such a lucrative business, and we the people own the land and oil, why can’t the government run the exploration, drilling and refinery businesses as non-profit business for the people? Even with all the inefficiencies of government run business, it should still beat the monoply of greedy private companies ripping off the consumers.

  • Conservativesaregood:

Americans should not stir things up americans should work adjusting there lifestyles to the new enconmy

  • Conservativesaregood:

oh sure you know what your talking about look smartie People whp are employed by the oil compaines have a right to earn a living and many have families to feed

  • LoyalAmerican1952:

    Speak up America…
United we can have them hear us all..

  • marvisinsane:

That doesn’t even make sense as a rebuttal. Why are you putting “LOL”. I get where you are trying to go, but it doesn’t even make sense. Do us all a favor and get to what you really meant: “I know you are but what am I?”.

  • endtimer09:

    just Obama LOL

  • rlsage:

They must think the american people are completly stupid to believe this.

  • bbtapb:

    1.3 out of almost 300.

  • bbtapb:

BS. A few percent for a few months’ supply. Do the math.

  • marvisinsane:

Yeh, Newt Gingrich. Can you think of any other ways of bending our country over and f’ing it up the *** harder?

You are following an oil think tank, you moron.

  • Joelomite:

I cannot agree more with this video. And **** Pelosi wants to ignore the situation and spew her self-righteous BULLSHIT. If she could only just accept that she’s wrong and admit it, we could lower gas prices even further. Too bad Newt Gingrich isn’t still the speaker.

  • stealth63:

12 years these republican bozos have been in power, and what do we get? Double the gas prices, record oil company profits, and this ridiculous drilling smoke screen. Hey, fellas, how bout we fix the problem instead of trying to push off the symtoms for a little longer? Limited reserves+unlimited demand=high prices. That’s econ 101. It aint rocket science. Drill here, drill now, get 5% more oil in about 10 years. Yipee…

  • marvisinsane:

Simply reading it was to difficult? You had to ponder it?

  • mykol13v:

They did a study on our mass transportation in the city I live and it costs $86,000 per person to operate it that use it.

If we’d just buy every a free cab ride when they need it or buy riders a new car and fill it with gas for a year, we’d save money.

  • mykol13v:

If Superman were real, he’d dig deep into the earth in a few seconds and put all the American oil in a place where we could use it until we have alternatives. Closest thing we have to Superman is the Free Market with minimal activism of the Reds and Greens. If we act in our best interests, we can achieve.

Does it make sense to ‘reserve’ oil while our grandmothers freeze, our trucker’s stop trucking food, our children have no safe rides and the world is in chaos from food riots?

  • mykol13v:

    I understand your name now.

  • Fockersnextdoor:

here is a not so nice way to cut oil prices follow if you can. The USA raises the price of Exported food to $500per barrel, this causes food shortage and conflicts start in developing countries over food, Population reduces in these countries=less demand for oil= lower cost of oil per barrel. evil but true like it or not.

  • justhodge06:

Yes, we need to develop new energy sources, such as solar power and fuel cells. The transition to these sources, however, is going to take some time. These energy sources are still far too expensive for the American public as a whole to implement. What we need to do is drill our own supply (while keeping to environmental standards), and then we can stop worrying about OPEC and focus all our resources on developing these alternative sources.

  • hughess3:

Well then lets build a new refinery.. that would create jobs..

I want alternative energy too. We are on the same side. But I also am realistic about things. We are not going to have an alternative energy break through for about 20 years.

China and Cuba have teamed up and are about to start drilling 60 miles off the Coast of Florida. That makes me mad because our current laws ban drilling within 200 miles.

  • CommentorX:

Hughess3, the problem is not a lack of crude oil. Refineries in the US are currently at full capacity. All drilling will do is move more oil from the ground into storage tanks waiting to be refined. It will do nothing for the supply of refined heating oil and gasoline.

Of course, if you happen to be an oil driller or a storage tank construction crew, it will be good news. Other than that, though …

  • CommentorX:

Lesatseaside, the problem is not pumping more oil into the supply side. The problem is reducing demand.

What we need is a motorcycle similar to the old Corbin Sparrow – 1 seater commuter vehicles that will get people to and from work without pushing the 3000 lbs. of steel of an SUV. The automaker that makes those – and cheaply – will make millions in today’s market.

  • ZomgZintos:

    YOU’RE AN IDIOT!!!!!!!!

  • hughess3:

tempCorrespondence. Why cant we do both?? Lets Drill and find alternative.

By the way. What are scientist saying about how close they are to any break throughs when alternative energy??

Just asking. I am not trying to be rude or ugly. I agree with your point.

But I think we can do both!!
