What do you think of the hurricanes effecting the gas prices?

YES. I am from Tn and we have already had a jump in gas prices. Yesterday morning it was 3.40 and then just three hours later it went up to 3.70 and it was 3.85 last night. Some gas stations have already put bags on the pumps. One man that owns a gas station that we know well told me and my husband that he was not going to get gas for 2 days he knew, they are not delivering it. My advice is to fill up while you can cause people are wanting the cheaper prices and gas is limited.
I think it’s unfortunate manipulation and greed
they charge bloody $6 dollars already.
If you need gas you need gas.. BUT please, I urge you to check out before you buy, and buy ONLY from the cheapest station. Don’t support gouging. Don’t overbuy at high prices. If we are willing to pay higher gas prices, then the gas stations will keep the prices high, and over-inflate prices. Report gougers to . Don’t support BOHICA (bend over here it comes again).. As far as shortages are concerned, when you overbuy, you are helping to create a shortage and encouraging the stations to charge higher prices, which should not be happening..
I hear it’s like freaking $7 a gallon now! It’s raised $1 a day where I live. They started raising prices BEFORE the hurricane even hit!
