It has to do with demand. China and India have billions of habitants and the burgeoning classes in these countries are getting richer, therefore, everybody there wants to drive a car and they have to buy petrol and gas in order drive one. Saudi arabia increases their prices when more demand is made, so ye the problem is the increase in demand, if people were consuming less than we wouldnt have prices so high.
