With gas prices the way they are how much does it usually take to fill an 89 Chrysler?

Kermits friend asked:

I can never figure out how much to put away for with the gas prices changing every other day down here in Florida. Pinellas Park just of 45mins out side of Tampa.

OK here is how you figure that out… you take the size of your tank, since you didn’t privy me to what kind of Chrysler I don’t know how big the tank is, and then you multiply the size of the tank by the cost of gas.

    Example:
if the gas tank holds 16 gallons and the cost of gas is $3.00
Then it will cost you $48.00 to fill the tank.

On your Fifth Avenue with an 18 gallon tank the charge would be $63.00 @ $3.50 per gallon.

I live in the Kansas City metro area and gas here is $2.91 per gallon on regular.

What model? How big is the gas tank. To be safe, set aside $4 per gallon, that way you shouldn’t have to recalculate for a week or two.

$3 a gallon???!!!??? Where do you live?

I am currently refinancing the house so I can fill mine up this coming October. I’ll let you know how it goes. By the way, $3 per gallon is a steal. Where I live, regular unleaded is currently $3.56 / gal.
